LAGO DI BRAIS| ITALY 

Lago di Braies, also know as Pragser Wildsee, is one of the most popularattractions in the Dolomites and probably one of the most popular lakes in Europe.

Most important information is:

From 10.07.22 until 10.09.2022 (peak season) between 09:30 AM — 4:00 PM it’s not possible to drive private vehicles to the lake unless you have a hotel booking there. So this means you will have to take shuttle bus to the lake. But if you go to the lake before or after the time restrictions you can drive your own vehicle. We went there after 4 PM and stayed until sunset. There was less people and the paring was free when we were there.

After 10.09.22 there is no traffic regulation, the Pragser Wildsee Lake can be visited at any time. Best time to visit this lake is without a doubt around sunrise or sunset. That is when you will avoid the worst crowds as well! But make sure to be there before 19:30pm if you want to rent a boat :)
